Ottawa’s new professional duet called “Bibik Duo” is made of Russian Canadian violinist Anna Baksheeva and Ukrainian Canadian pianist Natalia Bibik. This is their first year of playing concerts together. They invite everyone who loves classical music to their upcoming recital at Yamaha piano store on Bank street. Music by Mozart, Schubert and Brahms have something in common. Sweet melodies, variety of moods and beautiful German Classical-Romantic flavour. Mozart’s classical sonata and Rondo has lots in common with Schubert’s Sonatina thanks to its dramatic and theatrical character. All the Romantic passions of Mozart and Schubert’s music get multiplied by ten in famous Brahms sonata No.3. This is an afternoon of beautiful, elegant and intense classical music for violin and piano.
